Came to us from the Kalamazoo Brewery when I first tasted it, but now the folks at Bell's brew this fine beer. Really good for watching late night vampire movies. A pretty strong bitter flavor while going down, but good and smooth enough for you pale ale/heavy lager fans.

This French liquid comes in a bottle painted white, and that's the only unique thing about it. Otherwise, it's a pretty plain drink much like a cheap American lager. Also known as "tutz." Brewed and bottled by Brasserie Schutzenberger.

Tsingtao Beer

Watery, sweet and sour. And I'm not just saying this because this brew is from China. Someone in Asia apparently doesn't know how to make beer.

Traquair House Ale

An extremely sweet Scottish ale that takes a little getting used to but goes down great and has a very high-class taste to it. True beer snobs will have to try this to appreciate it, but watch out because it's very expensive. This brew is made on property that is part of a large house known as the Traquair House, a former hunting lodge for royalty; today the Traquair House is sort of a complex with a bed and breakfast, a brewery and much more.

Tommyknocker Pick Axe Pale Ale

A fairly strong India Pale Ale with a bit of a nutty flavor and usual I.P.A. sourness. Goes down wet. Though not a really great drink, this is much too complicated a beer for non-beer snobs. Still, worth trying out.

Tommyknocker Maple Nut Brown Ale

This sweet-tasting beer comes from a micro-brewery in Idaho Springs, Colorado. The taste is reminiscent of maple syrup to some extent. While this isn't the best beer in the world, don't pass it up if you get the chance. This is a good beer for folks who like their brews sweet, mainly because the sweetness isn't overpowering.

Third Coast Beer

The bottle has a quaint, old-fashioned look to it due to a map of the Green Bay area in northwest Michigan (the actual bay, not the city of Green Bay, Wisconsin) on the label; the map sort of reminds one of a nautical map or maybe even a pirate map (though the lines of the map are quite modern). This beer looks weak in the glass but it has a strong bitterness. Very wet. Would make a good pub brew to go along with pub food (hot wings, anyone?).

Three Stooges Beer

Yes, this cheap lager with a little sweetness and fizz has a picture of Moe, Larry and Curly on the front label. The label on the back of the bottle shows the Three Stooges standing in the middle of a room and gawking at several tables loaded down with beer bottles. Comes from the Panther Brewing Co. of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The funny bottle and novelty of the drink could be a hit at parties, but the taste won't be.

Thames Welsh ESB

Has an overly strong burnt fruit flavor. Mighty strong and sweet for a "bitter"-style ale. According to the bottle, this stuff is made based upon an old Welsh recipe.

Tequiza Extra

This Anheuser-Busch brew is a little stronger than regular Tequiza and it doesn't have the lime flavoring. It's got a slight tequila flavor, but that's not overly strong. Try it once, then put it away. There are too many better beers to be stuck with this.

This was Anheuser-Busch's answer to Corona, which has grown in popularity, and it was supposed to have a tequila flavoring. This drink doesn't taste much like tequila, nor beer. It tastes more like a lime seltzer water. The smooth lime gives it the score I've given it, because there isn't enough beer taste to have done so. Folks who don't like beer but want to fit in with a beer crowd will like this (ie. the Zima and wine coolers crowd). This brew goes down very easy. The lime is nice at first, but gets on your nerves after you've had a few. Update: As of 2009, Tequiza is no longer on the market.

Tennent's of Scotland

This Glasgow, Scotland, brew is very sweet with an almost fizzy, cider-type quality. Goes down pretty smooth. Worth trying for its uniqueness.

Tecate

I guess weak and watery beers are popular in hotter climes. This stuff comes from Mexico but it tastes like it came from tap water. If you like weak, watery brew, this one's for you. But it's not for me.

Tap Room No. 21 Pale Ale

Wow! One of the strongest-tasting pale ales I've ever had. Goes down a bit heavy, almost like a lighter porter, but not in a harsh way. Definitely a different kind of pale ale, but not in a bad way. Heavy enough that I would not suggest drinking a lot of these ... unless, of course, your goal is to get drunk.

Tap Room No. 21 Lager

Goes back pretty smooth with a light sweetness and the barest hint of carbonation. This is a good brew for introducing your non-snob friends to good beer.

Tap Room No. 21 Amber Ale

Light at first sip, but the strength grows as you drink more. Has a nice, frothy head. Light enough you could drink more than one, but the flavor is probably a little too complex for the non-connoisseur.
