Algonquin Black & Tan

Beer score: 6.2
Web site: Brick Brewing Company
This Canadian microbrew is a mix of stout- and lager-style beers. It's awful weak for a beer that is supposed to be half stout (generally the strongest, thickest type of beer). Has a very soft maple flavor and a watery texture. There are better black and tans available. All that being said, apparently this beer is no longer being made. The company that used to make it was bought out by the Brick Brewing Company which has decided to longer make the product.
