The taste is a little too complicated for novices, but a good brew for beer snobs who are working their way up in beer tasting. This is a sturdy beer. This is a good, standard dark beer. It has a very stoutish taste. Supposedly a rye beer, meaning one of its main ingredient is a rye grain. Word on the street is this brew is no longer in production, so I'm glad I got to taste it when I did.
